My first art post for spn_meanttobe. Yay for all the romance! Check out firesign10 yummy rich young Jared and bodyguard Jensen HERE - because who could resist such a delicious combo? I know I couldn't....

Process:
All digital - sketched using body references found via image searches, and photo refs for the faces. This was the original outline sketch

For the background I originally used a brochure type photo of a villa with a pool, then painted over it, added layers for effect and texture until it looked 'right' to me. But then as I went on I almost totally lost the background, because I wanted all the attention to focus on the characters. Hopefully there is enough of an impression left to suggest they are poolside. I painted the figures in PaintTool Sai so I could retain some of that watercolour effect.

I think the background work's extremely well, it's the spread and thinned paint that catches my eye with it, the little pop of colour. Well done hun! Plus the boys, your boys, as always are gorgeous!

I love what you did here, and now seeing your process makes it even cooler. This made the story so much more fun!! (and hot!! LOL) I really enjoying seeing this develop, as well as ll your feedback on the story itself.

I really like the clean composition, I think it definitely works without a background. Gosh, Jensen's nose is adorable and I love his pose. Jared looks very tempting. Nom.

Oh, that's fantastic. You did a superb job with the body language. I love the contrast in their expressions and... (you know it's coming) FRECKLES! You are still the reigning queen of Jensen freckles.

I do adore quickreaver's rendering of shoulder freckles, but she's the queen of plenty of other things. I think she can share the freckle crown with you ;) I don't know how either of you do it - I'm horrid at drawing freckles! But yours always make me so very happy.
