Sherlocked? No, bloody knackered!

Never mind being Sherlocked, I'm bloody knackered. That was the most exhausting convention I've ever been to - a ridiculous amount of queuing and my feet are killing me, even though it's at least three hours since I last stood on 'em. Bloody OW!
But still, there were some highlights.
At the risk of boring y'all, some photos!
My fave photo op (with the lovely Louise). It says 'last but by no means least'! :D

Little John still standing tall! The warm and cuddly Clive Mantle

Mark Gatiss being charming (LOL!)

The Cumbersmile!

But still, there were some highlights.
- I got a smile out of Mr Cumberbatch in my photo op, which was more than most folks managed from what I saw of other people's pics.
- I got to tell Andrew Scott how much I fucking LOVED Pride, and how I bawled my eyes out at the end, and he was so thrilled that I liked it, he drew a little heart on my autograph, gave me a beaming smile and shook my hand.
- Mark Gatiss remembered me from yesterday's photo op and said he didn't just kiss anyone's hand, you know...
- I had a little hug from Mrs Hudson and discovered that though Una Stubbs is tiny she's still a tad taller than me!
- Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss were a comedy duo on stage which was unexpected and awesome
- Then at the end of today I was the very last person in the autograph queue for the absolute darling Louise Brearley (she plays Molly in Sherlock by the way, in case you are like me, and didn't know her name before this weekend), and as a result, she took her time writing all over my auto picture and stood up to give me a huge hug. What an absolute sweetie.

Date: 2015-04-27 07:06 am (UTC)It was nothing like an SPN con - it was more focussed on the treadmill of photos and autos and we must have spent at least 80% of the time queuing for one or the other. I only saw 2 stage talks on the first day and 3 and a half on the second day. The fans though - pretty much the same kind of people as SPN fans! All very friendly and chatty in the queues, happy to be there dressing up and geeking out.
