We had a lovely hunter gathering in London today, and thought we should do a little tribute to one of the Founder Fathers of Fandom.
Rest in Peace Leonard.


dizzojay will no doubt post the adventures of mini!Dean, mini!Sam, mini!Bobby, mini!Cas and mini!Crowley... Thankfully no killer sprouts were encountered this time, though Viv caught a ghost passing behind us.

It's a weekend only job. Which does kind of suck. I had no idea there was an active Supernatural faction so close to home...

Ah that is a bit of a bummer. I'm flexible because I'm self employed but the rest of us are 9-5 Monday to Friday workers, so weekends is when we have to meet. However, if you had a lunch hour free and were near the Tower of London, you'd be welcome to join us next time... We always meet at the Liberty Bounds because it's a Wetherspoons and cheap!

Nope, none of us are London based! It's just the easiest place for everyone to get to. We are just looking at dates in April - Sunday 19th is looking good at the moment. We are usually there from about 10:30 to 15:30ish.

How awesome that you all can get together in person, that's so cool. I'm jealous. So far, all the Aussies I've met online are spread all over the (very big) country!

Ah there is hope for you yet - two of the first SPN friends I made online were Aussies and after our little group of 12 had been chatting for about 6 months or so, we started exchanging a bit more personal information, and it turned out these two girls only lived a few blocks away from each other in Perth! So you never know...

That's so cool! I've heard a few stories from people who discovered that an online friend lived just around the corner from them. So far, most of the other Aussies I've talked to live in other States (and yep, two in Perth...which is a four hour flight from where I live!) Even the ones who live in my State live at least an hour's drive from me... but you never know...maybe one day there'll be an Aussie get-together! :)
