This was something new, this terrible consuming anger he felt at Dean’s apparent weakness, his betrayal.
He lashed out, deadly in his fury.
Every day seemed to bring something different; a fresh challenge - and Castiel was becoming increasingly fatigued.
It seemed that each new test that he faced just increased the weight that was dragging him down, and every step he took was taking him farther and farther from Heaven.
So this is how it felt to be human.
To feel the pull of gravity composed of...
Duty.
Love.
Family.
Dean Winchester.
Perhaps one day, he would understand why.
