A Life in Colour

Challenge word: eyes
Warnings: none
Summary: Demon eyes come in four colours, yellow, red, white and black…

A blaze of yellow started the story; the edges of flames that stole more lives than one. Yellow was the colour of Mary’s hair, Azazel’s eyes and of doom.
Red brought an interlude, a trip to Hell in a sacrifice that should never have been made. It wasn’t part of the Plan, but it seemed things would work out regardless, when Dean bled out under Alastair’s knife until the only colour left was the whiteness of bone and surrender.
Black is an ending unforeseen; revealed in a blink that stops all movement, when Sam finally understands what Dean has become.
