I got to do art for an enticing concept - Sam and Dean find a case that requires them to dress in Regency costumes. Obviously I couldn't resist, and you won't be able to resist
septembers_coda's fun filled fic either. Done for
spn_bigpretzel's Spring Fic Exchange.

So to the main art. This is a scene from the fic, but other than the presence of an OFC, there is nothing spoilery about it.
I did two versions, but both me and
septembers_coda ended up agreeing the one without the interior wall looked better, so that is the main one. I've posted the other version for interest.

The reject! LOL

I only used reference pics for the costumes, which is why Sam has come out a bit dorky.
Being too lazy and incompetent in Photoshop to paint the lovely landscape background, I did a google search and found the perfect picture. This is actually Pynes, a fine William and Mary house in Devon, just outside Exeter. It was Jane Austen’s model for Barton Park, and she probably visited it when she was holidaying in Devon with her family either in 1801 and 1802. This picture appeared in Ackermann’s Repository of the Arts etc., in February 1825.
