100 Days of Happiness - Day 10
Mar. 20th, 2014 05:23 pmEdited to say HAPPY INTERNATIONAL HAPPINESS DAY everyone! LOL
Day 10 already and I'm glad to say I haven't run out of happy-making things yet! Which is in itself a reason to be cheerful, is it not?
So today's photo of a happy moment is lunch with my cinema-buddy Christine and my cousin Michelle. I love that being self employed means I can be a Lady Wot Lunches!

The bonus here was that me telling them I needed this photo for my happy album made them happy too - it's a win win!
The nice thing about this exercise is that I'm finding that I'm looking for the things that make me smile in the day (and there are a lot of things that fit the bill) instead of noticing all the stuff that irritates me.

Date: 2014-03-20 05:47 pm (UTC)you are also in the UK! It seems I've recently made a bunch of new UK friends. :)
I'm in the US, East Coast. We're going to be traveling to the UK in June! :)

Date: 2014-03-20 05:58 pm (UTC)Yes I'm UK based, so if you are visiting London (and I'd assume you are likely to be) I might be able to meet up depending on dates and finances, as I live less than 2 hours away.

We will def. be in London at least for a few days, but we can't stay there long because lodging is so expensive. If you know of any cheap lodging-- please pass it along! :)

Date: 2014-03-20 10:57 pm (UTC)Re: places to stay in London - mmm. The only really cheapo place I know is the new Easy Jet run ones near the Barbican but I don't know anyone who's stayed there yet and it did sound VERY basic. The other thing that is worth looking at if there are a couple of you willing to share - apartment hotels. You could try Staycity.com - I've used them for Edinburgh, Dublin and Birmingham and they were really nice.
