100 Days of Happiness - Day 8

Back in London for another meeting today - and it was sunny again! Hurrah!
So reasons to be cheerful today - I love the new hop-on-hop-off buses, they are so retro and yet so modern.

I like that they have conductors who chat to passengers, and that they have two staircases (I bet little kids LOVE that too). I'm happy I don't have to go down to London again for a while...
And I love it when you get bright sunshine with dark clouds, it makes everything look extra dramatic.
This is the view up our road when I got back into town this evening - happiness is arriving home!

I know what you mean about coming home. I don't mind 'going to town' but I feel like as soon as I step off the train, everything is so stressy I can't wait to get home. I haven't seen the new busses, I tend to stick to the tube, I'd be worried about falling off the back! : )
I'm up tomorrow for the RA show so I might see if I can persuade the group to brave the omnibus just for fun : ) x

I would love for you to visit my part of the world and take my public transportation system, just as I'd love to do the same in regards to you! (I love London! :) In Boston (which is a large city near me and the capital) they call it the "subway" or the "T", short for the trolley. It's kind of confusing, though, because the actual trolleys go above-ground, and the subway is underground. So why they call them both the same thing, I don't know.
....
On second thought, don't ever take my public transit. Yours sounds much simpler! Lol.

I do quite fancy a return to the US one day - mostly for wild places like Yellowstone but Boston is one city I'd consider.
