Day 04 ~> Your favorite book.
OK now this one is easy. Lord of the Rings.

Read it first when I was eleven, my Uncle lent it to me, then I bought my own copy and reread it straight away. It was not unknown for me to read it and then start at the beginning again the minute i finished....I lost count of the number of times I read it after about the 14th or 15th time and my original copy actually fell to pieces. I repaired the cover with sellotape (not the best idea as it all went yellow after a while) and my Mum's friend managed to fix the two pieces together with real bookbinding tape for me (just like Mo in Inkheart!). Then I foolishly lent it to my boyfriend when I was 17 and the bastard never returned it. Not that I hold a grudge or anything, but Mike, your card is well and truly marked, matey.
There have been other books I have loved since, but LOTR still holds that special place in my heart, and would be my first pick for a desert island...
