Drawing blather (with bonus drawing)
Oct. 2nd, 2012 09:09 pmI think I am starting to get to grips with drawing Jensen/Dean. I had another go today for my spn_gen big bang art for poetartist, and I think it almost worked. I reckon I've made his nose and face too fine and narrow but otherwise it isn't too bad. The trouble is, he's kind of so pretty, it's hard to get the combination of features right without missing something that makes him recognisable as Jensen and not just a bland pretty face.
I can't post that pic yet of course but I wanted to get this off my chest, having done two drawings of the man in the last few days.
Oh I can share the other one I did though - it's for my friend Ana's birthday, so I hope she likes it. It wasn't that successful but there you go, it's done now. I better not look at it anymore because all I can see is everything that is awry and that's just depressing! And that is after I sepia-fied it in GIMP to try and make it look a bit sexier. Ana is getting a print and the original drawing, lucky girl ha ha ha!
