Title: Blood Brothers

Summary: Dean’s blood unites the brothers like nothing else can.  Season 4, post Hell, probably should count as AU.

 

The air is heavy with the scent of iron. It’s earthy; human; grounding.

 

For Sam the taste is at once arousing and sobering, erasing Ruby’s maddening sulphuric acid-blood from his body, chasing the demon-darkness back to Hell. 

 

For Dean the pain is cleansing fire; Sam’s knife carving him with love, Sam’s cock impaling him with desire, each cut and thrust wiping him clean, neutralising the touch of Hell from his skin.

 

Alastair swept away in a bloody tide – homicide, suicide, let it slide.

 

Dean’s blood fizzes on Sam’s tongue like pop-rocks and coke. 

 

Maybe it will kill them both eventually.
