My hubby's colleague at work's partner is a primary school teacher and came home with this little gem.

Phil was talking about fiction and non-fiction. One child came through with an excellent explanation: “it’s when two things rub together and non-fiction is when they don’t”.

 As you have guessed, they were talking about friction earlier in the week!

Well actually, I did wonder whether they were talking about Fanfiction...!!!

I love kids so much. I've done a lot of volunteer teaching of children and the answers they come up with for things are always so precious.

And there is quite the double meaning with this one ;)
