For anyone who's interested - this is a pencil and charcoal pencil drawing which I then photographed and edited in GIMP. The colouring is a layered effect, and the highlights and some blending was done digitally.

I think I have improved it slightly from the first draft, though I am still not happy with Dean's head, and correcting Sam's leg position was beyond my limited GIMP editing abilities or my eraser as I'd already fixed the paper version!! One day I will pluck up the courage to power up my wacom tablet and see if I can draw using that...
