Nothing major or deep here - move along if that is what you are looking for!

I liked this week's but it didn't grab me and twist my heart like last week's did - mostly because I found the Cas storyline a bit meh. And I am not a Cas hater, I actually like the angels and stuff but found myself thinking - oh, so Cas is back being manipulated by the high ups in Heaven again and it feels a bit like deja vu. All over again.

However, I did love that Cas got to confront Dean over our boy's martyr complex, and his deep seated thing about having to save everyone, and if he fails that it is all his fault.  It is one of his most frustrating and yet deeply endearing qualities (to me anyway, being a sucker for a tormented hero) and he needs to hear the other side every now and then.

I kind of missed Benny, and wanted more of Sam's backstory in this one I think too.  Which would have been impossible as it was pretty crammed with story as it was.

Though I do love Kevin and Mrs Tran, and Crowley and his mothership. And Sam got to bomb some demons, so it was still good, and it moves the story on nicely, so I'm not complaining!

And in the meantime, I'm off to Asylum 9 tomorrow for a cozy weekend with Rob, Sebastian, Demore and Richard - this is going to be weird with only 4 guests and a much smaller group of fans...
