Drawesome challenge #42

I'm just delighted to actually get a drawesome challenge done! This month is Draw your hand.

So here it is - in ink and watercolour.

I thought I'd mess up the first spread of a new sketchbook to try and kill the fear of using it. I was going to do a blind contour drawing then changed my mind after looking at my chubby little hand, and instead went for a kind of contour drawing mixed with some doodling.

The contour doodles look really cool 😄 especially against the splash of colour with the watercolour. Love the contrast of sharp lines against free mixing colour.

Thanks! Some of the other artists did similar things with theirs, it's effective!
