So who didn't double and triple check exactly how tall the giraffe sculpture is? Uh huh. ME!
Here they all are in the charity's warehouse, awaiting distribution.

Hmmm, thought I, those look much taller than 7ft, unless that lady is a lot shorter than she appears... and yup they are actually 2.5m tall. Which is 8.2 feet.
So who is now revising her plans for housing her giraffe in the covered alley down the side of the house, and wondering how we're going to get him into the living room at all? ME! There will be clearance as the ceiling is 9ft, but only just. Plus how will he fit through the doors...
Maybe I need to do some rapid reassessments and work out whether I need to paint him in situ in Worcester!
