Just plonking this post here until I can write something proper.
I'm vidding as my photos aren't coming out so good (really grainy and I think I've done something stupid to the settings on my camera and can't find out how to fix it. Plus it's taking forever to load the vids to Youtube but if you want to see them my channel is here. Vids will be appearing over the next few days.

Fangirls post-JIB - we'd just sung Carry On my Wayward Son to our boys. Jensen teared up at least twice on stage, and gave us a heartfelt speech about the difference our fandom can make to our own and other people's lives. He also gave himself some freckle love and showed Misha his underwear, shook his tackle around and told us he was dressing left today. We laughed until our cheeks hurt over Jared and Misha's influence (again). The whole event was bloody fantastic and we got a Daniela-promise that there will be another one next year. I'm starting my savings pot now because I can't NOT go.

Oh yay! I've been really enjoying the summaries and few vids I've been able to see from the Con. Sounds like another great year! One of these days I've gotta figure out how to get to it - it'd be cool to experience that convention, I think. It's always such a different mood than the creation cons.

It is TOTALLY different from Creation - the guests get to hang out together for three days (or more) so they get to eat great food, are plied with the very best alcoholic beverages and looked after like celebs by Daniela, so they LOVE this convention more than any other - it shines through.

The booking dates are usually around end June/beginning July, and if you are successful in the email apocalypse you do have to pay, but you can pay in instalments and spread the pain.

Oh the absolute best. It really is. I'm trying to get some posts together to report on the fun plus I'm posting vids on Youtube as fast as I can. I'm home tonight so tomorrow as well as getting a ton of washing done I hope to upload stuff!

Oh man, I may have to depend on them having a Jib10 - I don't think I'll know by June/July if I'll be able to afford that sort of expensive trip.

The way I always did VanCon was to wait for a second-hand ticket a month or two before, and decide then.

Ah well! I'll enjoy the videos next year too. :)

You can do that with JIB too - i sold (sorry, 'handed over') my Angel Pass to a newbie from Malta this year after i won one of the prophet pass auctions. People have to hand over passes all year for one reason or another, and you are allowed to do this up to around the end of March.

That photo is so lovely, you all look extremely happy and no wonder, what a fantastic way to end the con! I loved seeing you all singing Carry On... to Jensen and Jared, and their beautiful hug, too. And Jensen was on great form, thanks so much for all the vids, I love him for his silliness, and for his sincerity...
