King of the backache Jungle

This is one of those things where time passes without realising it... I started at about 9:30 this morning and after a while I thought maybe it was time for a break. Uh huh, just a bit - it was nearly 1pm! Now I've called a halt for the day at 4pm because my back's knackered and I'm supposed to be going to life drawing class tonight. Damn the reversals of life. When I was young and fit I had no time, now I've got time but a body that's falling to bits LOL. It's just as well I'm not painting in public as the grunting and groaning and swearing while I'm crawling, lying and kneeling isn't pretty.

That being said, Clarence is coming along!

Lion picspam alert...
The jungle has arrived


I can't really get a picture of this side very well as I can't stand far enough back but here's a bit of Baloo in the sunshine.

The other side I can get enough distance to show you the whole lion, though I haven't done as much painting on this side yet.

For some reason I thought the bears were being delivered today, when in fact it's tomorrow. I'm hoping they won't come till the afternoon as then I can get as much done on Clarence as possible before I go away on Wednesday. Then when we get back from the ice hockey weekend, I can get cracking on the bears!

In the meantime, I have a quickybang I need to get done before Wednesday too, as apparently there's no wifi at the SciFi convention. Oh the horror! How can there be places without wifi in this day and age? Sacrilege.

Thanks! I've got a few days off after tomorrow so that will give it time to ease up a bit :D
