I don't know how my artist friend Lois manages to work so quickly, I'm such a plodder! Plus all this crawling on the floor, sitting on a low stool or even standing is all knackering! LOL
Still, there has been progress, so now I won't feel so twitchy leaving him for two days to go to London again. David Tennant and Daniel Radcliff beckon...

Huh. You are almost doing him in a 'paint by numbers' way. I had assumed you'd paint the whole thing in the base colours, and then paint the details on top. I am looking forward to seeing him done! (and more in progress shots)

I am this time - I thought I'd try it this way. I did the otter base colours then layered... I'm not entirely sure whether this paint by numbers way is comfortable for me yet! It's all trial and error, really!
