Haunted by paper....

Edinburgh is being haunted - by a mysterious artist who is making amazing paper sculptures dedicated to reading and libraries and leaving them in public places.  I suppose it is a bit ironic and wrong to love something that is created by destroying books but these are awesome!!!

That is really incredible. I guess it's wrong to think this, but I think it's sort of okay since there are a lot of copies of a book, but art is unique. Unless, I suppose, said artist tries to make art out of the Gutenberg Bible or something. Then I might think it was crap no matter how pretty it was.

I thought it was really funny that while I am thinking "Wow! this is amazing and wonderful!" There is this little voice at the back of my head saying "but..but...they've chopped up that lovely book!"
