amberdreamsI had thought about doing one of these every month, but I missed March already, so perhaps I'll just stick to a random reccing instead. I'm posting the pictures with links where I have them, and would urge you to go and view each art work via the artist's link so you can both leave appreciation where it's due, and see the art larger than I'm displaying it here.
NB There may be nudity and voilent scenes depicted in some of the art - so enter at your own risk. These posts are going to be a mix of PG and NC-17.
First is a watercolour-style J2 pic that has been done digitally in a manner that fills me with envy! LOL

This one is a traditional media watercolour which I was reminded about when signing up for this year's summer art challenge. It's young Sam by
peach_gurl, and was done for 
spn_summer_art now defunct, run by salty_catfish. See the art including sketches HERE
I love the ethereal quality, the cool blues contrasting with the russets of Sam's hair and his pink lips.
This next one, Sparklers, was done for the same summer challenge. It's my one of my favourite fanartists,maichan, and features wee!chesters on the 4th of July. The drawing is so beautiful and soft, and the lighting is gorgeous. The artist's page is HERE
This one I think is by starthistle on tumblr - it appears on a google image search on several collection-type sites, none of which give the source, but I'm pretty sure this is the artist. If anyone knows any different, please correct me!
I love the dynamism of this one, and the long, long legs. I'm especially fond of Dean's thighs and his lovely ripped jeans!
Here's a bit of a contrast, both in style and subject - body horror with Castiel by vieroksuja on tumblr. This artist has a loose scribbly style that I love, but be aware, there is a lot of nudity and horror (and plants) involved in their artworks so don't visit if those things bother you.
Ok, one more to avoid overload.
An old favourite of mine from an artist who no longer posts, sadly -august_monsoon. If you are still around, babe, I miss you.
