I should (of course) have been doing other things, but I got distracted by finding an old still from one of my all time fave episodes, On the Head of a Pin.
Experimental wallpapers ensued.
Preview/teaser

I used a texture by salt'n burn called text5 blue angels which is so lovely on its own I could hang it on my wall - you can see it best in the first version. Plus an engraving of primeval rain which I can't remember the source, a couple of brushes downloaded from Brushking and that's about it.
Oh and can I say I officially hate the new Photobucket because it won't upload photos in their original sizes. What is the point of a photo site that doesn't upload large, high res photos?

Date: 2013-02-07 03:26 am (UTC)I love the ethereal softness of the first one (that is a beautiful texture base!), the harshness of the second and how the additional elements in the third nicely draw in the feel of the season as a whole. It's always so amazing how much of an effect on tone just changing the layer properties can have.
