#1. Perhaps he should have been more wary. Should have realised it was a trap.
Scratch that. He knew for certain he’d been the biggest kind of dumbass, and there was no perhaps about it. But by the time realisation dawned, it was too late and the demons (yes, there was more than one of the bastards) had him pinned, helpless, splayed like a butterfly in an entomologist’s prized collection, up against the warehouse wall.
#2. Helpless, Dean watches with a pain-blurred sense of detachment as Sam rocks back on his haunches, maintaining the strange sing-song chant, the lighter voice of Ahnah keeping counterpoint with Sam’s tenor.
His little brother’s bulk is silhouetted against the twilight of the white-night solstice, the wide skies still impossibly cerulean blue at midnight.
#3. Sam fired. The creature was freakishly fast though, and dodged the shot. His brother was not so lucky.
#4. Dean hates fucking rain.
So much so he thinks he might have been a cat in a previous life. Whatever.
#5. Jensen couldn’t work out how everything got so messed up. Correction, he couldn’t work out how he had got everything so messed up. Because it was down to him.
That's all my nascent SPN fics, below are the first lines from my 2 original novel length fics I've been faffing with for the last 2 years.

Sleeping.
Dying.
Living.
The colour red.
He was dreaming again.
Flames, a woman burning; a man dying, pinned to a kitchen wall. Screaming.
Nightmares. And not even his nightmares; they had belonged to someone he had loved. As if, he thought bitterly, he didn’t have enough of his own.

Mmm I hadn't thought I had as many as 5 works on the go, but actually there were 3 more with a few lines written....
Edited to include my non Supernatural stuff which I had kind of forgotten about.
