John Winchester fic rec

This was a recommendation in sawedoff_recs a little while ago - The Long Narrow Rope by pdragon76
Now I'm endorsing that rec - loved this so much!!  Her John voice is so gruff yet underlaid with so much love, I could see all of this happening, Jim Murphy is briliiantly drawn in very few words and entirely via interactions on the phone, and Dean - god Dean was just gorgeous... a totally randy endearingly idiotic and exasperating 18 year old.  Sam is such a teen monster and yet you just want to smish him up...
Anyhow, I did a picture - please note I hope this isn't considered to be in bad taste due to current events...

Thank you! And her John is so exactly as he should be - so like Missouri you want to smack him for his bullheaded mistakes but you love him at the same time.
