Jus in Bello - some highlights

Ok, I had such fun most of the time it is hard to pick out the best bits, but here's a few of my fave photos and moments..


Jared and Genevieve crash the Angels' cocktail party - that was a nice surprise.  They then persuaded Gen to sign autographs the next day so I kind of chatted to her (there was no queue!) and told her she should come in her own right as Ruby.  Maybe she will start appearing at Cons in the future after everyone was so supportive of her being there...

So Gen signed my Jared photo op - in case you can't see, it says Genevieve Padalecki "I like!" with smiley face and arrow pointing at Jared - so sweet!  Obviously, playing Dean in this game of rock paper scissors, I lost because we were not in an alternate time line.  Though Jared does look more like he's going to punch me - check out that forearm!!!

Richard did his usual jumping off the stage and roaming everywhere, and took almost as many photos himself as fans took of him!  He is so warm and cuddly.  I was sitting with Ann from Wales who actually worked on Richard when she was a physiotherapist on Band of Brothers.  He was impressed she might remember his legs so intimately...


Jensen was in an excellent relaxed mood all weekend - wonder if it was helped by having Danneel with him?  So anyway, he kept mucking about.  A lot.
He gatecrashed Misha and Seb's panel with a truly awful Russian accent....


He played with the time-delayed big screen, he made shadow puppets on Misha and stalked Misha on stage.... And Misha in return stalked Jensen (and for a moment I thought Misha would kiss him!!!)


Jared was looking extra hot (as well as sweaty hot but he was in good company - it was boiling in that hall on the first day in particular), but Jared being Jared, he ended up with a fan, a towel and an ice pack!


Chad and Rob made a great pairing - they finished their 2nd panel with Chuck and Ash falling from Heaven, on a road trip across America in a motorbike and sidecar, Chuck in the side car with helmet and goggles looking terrified, Ash (no helmet), mullett blowing in the wind.  Apparently they get naked a lot, and fight.

I feel someone should definitely write this fanfic.....

I will do another post later with some Seb, Chad, Rob etc pics and a link to Flickr for the hundreds of other photos if anyone is interested.

I particularly like the one of Jensen with Misha standing behind him *g* Those two really had fun teasing each other all weekend long.

And Richard was so funny!! I busted my ass laughing as Mark was left in charge of answering questions while Richard 'made out' with the crowd *g*

I know - Mark obviously decided if you can't beat 'em, join 'em on the 2nd session! That photo of Misha behind Jensen was the wrong one - I had a better one I meant to post, but that will just have to go onto Flickr. Or maybe I'll stick it in my next LJ one too...

There are so many blogs and photos out there this time, it's great.
All the videos I've seen so far have been great quality - the sound has been much better than ones I've seen in the past. It's great because a) it reminds me of everything I have already forgotten (Brain like a sieve, me!) and b) means everyone who wasn't there gets an almost first hand view of all the fun!

Well he is over a foot taller - I'm only 5'2" at the most! And he was bending down a bit too....it is funny, but the 2nd day they stuck both boys on stools instead so the Jared-giant effect was lost. :D

It was wonderful in spite of the crowds and the lack of organisation of the queuing (all the Americans, Germans and English were highly aggrieved, the rest seemed happy with the chaos!). I haven't laughed so much for ages, all the panels were very entertaining and I even got up and asked Jensen a couple of questions (Adrenalineshots caught it on video too though I'd never have recognised my own voice!)

I first asked about their internet/social networking thing (again) because our little Facebook fansite is always getting people who think the fakers are real - then I asked about his personal highlights from his visit to Rome last time and he told the story about his private mass in the Vatican under the painting of Michael smiting Lucifer, which was a really cool story so I was well chuffed.

From what I've seen, Jared is up for hugging - or just about anything really, the dafter the better. You stood behind him on a photo op??? That's like standing behind a brick wall!!!

Yep, the boys were sat on chairs and we weren't allowed to touch or anything :( For the J2 op the chairs were so far apart the boys had to lean towards each other to both get in the shot, so sad but at least I have my pic with them. I'm going to A6 next month but won't bother with ops again, which are also double the price this time :(

Asylum have put their prices up, eh? Um. Yes the chair thing sucked but they seemed reasonably close together for my op (I wonder if they moved them farther apart later on?). In fact both of them ended up leaning on me because I asked to get my t shirt in the pic because my friend made it for me - so that worked for me!!
