Art number two for this year's spn_bigpretzel's fic'n'art exchange. This one is for zelda_addict's fic Adventures in Deansitting which you can read HERE. The recipient is absenthe_wrae, so I hope they like it!

I rearranged the figures to get the balance better, and added the demin-killing knife

then started colouring in PaintTool Sai.

honestly, I was surprised how little adjustments I had to make to turn young Jared into a female version of Sam!

They look great! And you're right about girl!Sam, he's already got the shapely eyes/mouth/eyebrows (is that pic from Gilmore Girls?)

I'm not sure when that photo was taken but it's from a magazine article so Gilmore Girls era seems likeliest. I've always loved the sharpness of his face in that photo, it was nice to be able to use it as a source!

Baby!Dean is adorable, and girl!sam is so pretty!! He has that gorgeous bone structure, I can totally see it translating to a girl like this. Beautiful work!

Awesome work with their transformations, especially their eyes. Baby!Dean looks like he would be an absolute handful but would be a snuggler. Sam looks like his smart, capable self. I'd like to see him with hair this long in real life. Great work.

His bright green eyes and freckles. I love them! I haven't read the story yet but I imagine Sam is disgruntled because he has to take care of Dean or that little!Dean is a hellion. But *I* think it is because Sam is pissed that little!Dean is so freakin' cute.
