College kiss - art

amberdreamsTumblr have a monthly art challenge which I keep forgetting about, so having rediscovered it, I thought this month wouldn't pass me by! April's challenge was college AU - so here it is. Studious Jared can't resist Jock Jensen... and who can blame him? Jensen is VERY distracting.
Oh and of course, I can't remember where this blooming challenge lives on tumblr now, or how to submit this art - so if anyone has a link to the right comm, I'd be grateful!
This is the finished piece, though I'm not sure about the whole framing thing, now it's done.
Here's a view from the other side of the shelves.
Process - I found this photo and used it as inspiration (and nicked the bookshelves coz I'm too lazy to draw 'em)
Then I just sketched out J2 in Photoshop without references because (again, too lazy)
Coloured them in PaintTool Sai and PS
Fiddled with the bookshelves and some textures and voila!
