Ice hockey!

amberdreamsHad a lovely weekend in Nottingham for our annual ice hockey fix. I tried to video some bits of the final yesterday, because the noise was incredible. We were sitting in the block with the Coventry Blaze fans (underdogs and unlikely winners in the end) and right next to the Sheffield Steelers fans who had their customary three blocks full, so when the teams came out, the roar was phenomenal. But listening to the little vid clips, you can't really get a true impression, so I've only uploaded this one little clip of a wee boy in the Sheffield block who was well into all the seat dancing us spectators do.
So here he is, doing the whoosh one. I missed the Sheffield blocks doing the orange hankie waving, sadly.
I hasten to add, I do not stand up and do co ordinated stuff, the most I can manage is a bit of handwaving, provided it's not too complicated! We did have a great view across the ice of the Braehead Clan from Glasgow, whose star performer in the crowd was for some reason dressed as a Super Sperm. He was especially impressive doing YMCA with Captain and Mrs America.
