Asylum 14 - art in progress - Day 3

Slowly, slowly, it's gtting there. There may be some moving about of the figures once I've got Metatron in place, I'm not sure. It's a bit busy, but there are a lot of guests to fit in! Also I need to leave some space for people to sign it. So.
Anyhow, the new characters are Crowley and Cain, and Hannah.

I am trying to decide whether to add Jim Michaels to the poster or have him sign something else. I could sit him with Metatron. Maybe.

I'm not terribly happy with Crowley but I'm also not entirely sure what's wrong so if anyone has any concrit, fire away!

Oh WOWWWW bb! This is amazing!!! All of the figures flow together so well, and really feel like part of the same piece while still maintaining their striking individuality. I especially love your Hannah and Rowena. <3

The hair braiding! Wonderful. I think Hannah is one of my favourites so far also, really great profile on her.

Just suggestions with Crowley, I think it's that he looks a little young? Maybe a couple of forehead wrinkles. And possibly darker/more shaded eyes, because they are quite dark on screen and pretty distinctive. On the other hand, I know less than nothing about art, so take with a grain of salt!

T shirts - if we go to Redbubble I think they are c£17 plus postage. It's better to order individually on there as otherwise VAT gets slapped onto the delivery and the Post Office then charge £11 on top of the VAT!

Love the stark shading and Abaddon's hair is awesome! Very ambitious with so many characters -- if you're planning on having it signed by everyone, you'd best print it out poster-size (I had a piece of mine signed by J2, and those boys write BIG.)

Crowley-crit: The overall shape of his head is off; forehead is too large/rounded; his hair is too puffy; and the line of shading across his right eye is too heavy -- Crowley's eyes aren't deep-set. Try a different photo ref, maybe? :)

I got rid of a lot of the shading and it looks better but his head still looks too big so I think I'll have to sort that out...somehow - thanks for the feedback, you confirmed what I was thinking!

Wow, this is really taking shape!! You could have Jim M looking over Metatron's shoulder maybe? I think it would be cool to include him - he might feel left out!!! :)

ha ha funny you should say that - you must be psychic! I have a photo op with Jim from a couple of years ago that is the perfect ref - so I'd just done exactly what you suggest then I read this! :D Hive mind!
