Got to the stadium early to catch the start of the men's Heptathlon's final day - that was a good competition, really quite close, so the 1000m final event actually could have changed the results. I love it when that happens in the multi-events, it makes it so much more exciting. Our posh seats were invaded later on by two sets of parents - both their kids were running in the 1500m, on in the women's and one in the men's. The girl, Rosie, didn't do too badly but only managed 6th, but the lad, Chris O'Hare worked his cotton socks off and got a bronze medal. He then came up and joined us so he could give his mum his flowers - cute.
Here he is with his very hoarse but proud parents.

After the championships were over, we had something to eat then went for a walk round the old town in the hopes that it would be a bit quieter at night. It wasn't really, but I managed to get some nearly decent hand-held pics.
So here you have it - Prague by night
