So yeah, I got tagged by the adorably talented
badbastion and why not, hey?
3. My favourite photo of the day (I think) was this one. In Little Wenham church, now redundant but being cared for by the Suffolk Churches Trust.

Finally, not a positive note to end on, but I did think it was bloody funny - this morning I finally did it. I poured fizzy water on my cereal instead of into my glass of lemon squash. Senility, where is thy sting? LOL!
badbastion and why not, hey?- The horrible bastard malware scare from yesterday seems to be resolved - yay! No more random tab closing, no more .dmg files downloading themselves without me touching ANYthing, no poor laptop fans whirring like they were hovercraft engines. Phew. Definitely a reason to be cheerful. It seems that it was 'infecting' Google Chrome, not my actual Macbook, so once I cleared it out of the settings there (where it had somehow installed itself, the ratfink) everything seemed to go back to normal. Anyone with a Mac - be aware do not go anywhere near the Mackeeper software. Touch ye not anything called MplayerX. Ever. I didn't download any ot these things yet they somehow piggybacked on (I think) a font I downloaded from dafont.com. Apparently that is how they work - they latch onto something else, legitimate or otherwise, that you are downloading. An uninvited guest of the worst kind.
- Found a castle/fortified manor house we never knew existed, virtually on our doorstep. Well, six miles away but who's counting. So we spent a couple of hours looking at 13th century wall paintings in the church next door, taking photos (one of my fave things to do when out and about) and generally enjoying the local scenery in the late summer sunshine. The photo below is Castle House (as it's called now), a provate residence so this is as close as we could get without waltzing up their drive and having them set the dogs on the peasant trespassers.

Date: 2014-09-14 10:27 am (UTC)The town where I live is quite picturesque in parts, but there are loads of lovely chocolate box villages round and about which we don't visit often enough.
