Dear Summergen author
Jun. 16th, 2014 08:39 pmHello you lovely person!!
I am so happy to be part of this charming challenge, and am really looking forward to reading whatever your muse comes up with from the prompts I gave. I will add that (of course) I cannot remember a single thing I wrote when signing up so really the pressure is off. LOL!
Given that I can't recall what I wrote, I'll just tell you a few of my likes and dislikes in case I forgot to mention something when filling in the form. One thing I may have forgotten to mention as a dislike is first person fic. I will read it, and sometimes I like it, or even love it, but there is a barrier between me and any 'I' story that I have to get over before I can really immerse myself. Other than that, I'm not overfond of Mpreg or A/B/O scenarios (which as this is a Gen challenge probably wouldn't have crossed your mind anyway). I am not too keen on Wee!Chesters and overly soppy fics - I like my Winchesters to be tough on the outside and only liable to bursting into tears when one of them dies - anything else merits a tear or two but no sobbing. Well - in character with the show, really.
That being said, I love to see them hurt, especially Dean, because he hurts so pretty. I'd love Dean and Sam to be the focus of the story, but I'm open to other characters playing a major part - Ezekiel, Gadreel, Kevin, Sheriff Mills spring to mind... from the past Brady, Ellen, Missouri, Kathleen Hudak, Victor Henriksen, Alastair. I'm also open to being surprised, any season, pre season, season 10 speculation, AUs - knock yourself out. I don't want to constrain your imagination - I'm sure you can think of many more fascinating scenarios than I would ever have thought of.
So that's enough babbling from me - go write me something and I will love it like my firstborn and feed it cookies. Or bread and jam, or something.
