100 Days of Happiness - Day 6

Having just wasted spent the morning trawling through Vegascon photos and laughing at the video of Jared and Jensen rapping Vanilla Ice, this is my happy place today.

I was also somewhat encouraged to read some of the things J2 said about Sam and Dean. Nothing very spoilery but it's given me hope for the rest of the season.
Now I have to decide whether I post this on FB where 80% of my friends won't understand why seeing our boys being complete dorks would make anyone happy.

I'm not entirely sure what he was doing - there was a bit where they talked about wrestling moves including one called the Impala, but also Jensen seems to have done a LOT of dancing about again... I'm waiting for the vids!

As to the hopefulness - they mentioned Dean's Mark of Cain 'coming to a head' and how important it was that Dean should understand what he'd done to Sam was unacceptable (something along those lines). They talked about how much they loved their characters... I dunno, it was from tweets so not first hand, but it just read as positive to me!

What I'm getting from this is that a side effect of the Mark of Cain will be to get Dean to go on Dancing with the Stars. I am on board with this plot twist.

I have similar problem about sharing my happiness with people outside fandom. Just now I almost locked all my fanarts on DA that have guy touching so I could show my page to new RL friends without freaking them out, or I couldn't explain to them what I do with 80% of my leisure time :(

My mother just asked me today if I had a blog, because she was thinking of maybe getting a blog. And I lied (or at least equivocated -- I confessed to the Google Blogger blog I have that is a blank there only to let me follow a blogroll) and now I feel bad for lying to my mom but WHAT CAN YOU DO. I couldn't very well tell her that I have a Livejournal full of incest.

Yes, I'm seriously considering it. They always ask me why I don't post my photos where most people do so. I'm not interested in doing selfies, and I'm not active on any websites except drawing-related sites and LJ...even if I set up a presentable personal blog thing they can't find what they want to see there. Their panel was really awesome and fun. I loved what Jared said about why Sam is acting like he is with Dean and it is exactly what I thought..

Loved J2 but mostly Jensen singing Ice Ice baby at the end..

There was just so much to love about the con this year.. I should have chosen to go back again but DC will be just as fun.

Jared said that Sam is acting the way he is with Dean because he wants Dean to realize that he hurt him and that what he did wasn't okay, that he needs time to get over it himself that he doesn't need Dean telling him he saved his life so he can't be mad at him.

Also He said that Sam sees what the mark of Cain is doing to Dean, that he sees the same thing he went through in season 4 when he was addicted to blood. That is sort of a role reversal for this season for them in that respect.

Does anyone know where we can get a synopsis about what the boys said about the characters and perhaps the remainder of this season that offer's hope? I sure am in need of some hope for this season. The sniping between Dean and Sam camps is so disheartening.

I found a lot of my con stuff on tumblr at the vegas con 2014 tag and on Twitter during a the live panel.. people were blowing up the feed.

Also there are a lot of videos on youtube for vegascon 2014 right now where you can watch the actual j2 breakfast and panels.
