amberdreamsI wrote this double drabble for a valentine gifting because I suck at reading rules properly! LOL
So I thought I may as well post it anyway.
A Cave full of Cavies

Summary: For
chomaisky – Castiel tries to comfort Sam with some guinea pigs.

Castiel isn’t the most observant student of human behaviour, but he’s noticed that since Dean took off, Sam’s been uncomfortable in the bunker.
For instance, every time Sam walks through the main chamber, his gaze skitters around before settling on the burn-marked floor, when inevitably a pained expression will cross his face.
But it’s more than just guilt that’s bothering Sam. Now Castiel has grace again, albeit stolen, he catches flashes of Sam’s thoughts. From those, he understands it’s the silence that really bothers Sam. Castiel might be more human than he used to be, but he still moves in what Sam thinks of as stealth-mode most of the time.
Sam misses Dean’s steady stream of inanity, his atrocious singing, his banging around the kitchen, his breathing.
Castiel decides to fix Sam.
Cas flies to Peru and comes back with an armful of squeaking cavies. As he lets them run loose in the War Room, Cas smiles at Sam.
“Pets are good for human souls. Guinea pigs are well loved by adolescent females, so I thought you would be pleased, Sam.”
Sam’s less happy than Castiel hoped. He feels compelled to elaborate.
“Dean always says you are a teenage girl…”

Warnings: Demon point of view. It ain’t pretty.
Summary: The soul of Dean Winchester arrives in Hell.

Rumours spread through Hell’s nine circles faster than fear. A new soul has arrived; one sweeter and brighter than any poor unfortunate that’s passed through the portals of the pit in millennia.
Abaddon’s thigh deep in guts and blood when she hears the news. She kicks at the shrieking bodies as she wades clear, rushing to the reception area.
She’s quick, but still too late.
Abaddon roars, frustrated of her sport. Alastair slices pristine flesh with one sharp talon, purest white light spilling with the fresh blood into the greedy mouths of minor demons.
Abaddon swallows Dean’s screams and wants.
