I cannot wait to see Mandela.  Seriously.  Idris Elba might talk himself down but he has real, raw presence and I just think this film is going to be ('scuse my French) fucking AWESOME.
Check out this interview for Esquire Magazine.  And I had a tweet reply from Idris' brother once (hee!).
My fave quote? “Me! The way I live my life, I’m two drinks from being in the tabloids every day. I’m no national treasure. I’m a fucking dutty rude boy!”  Maybe, Idris, maybe - but we'd all pay good money to see you as James Bond.  Hell yeah!

I LOVE Idris. I just think he has such presence onscreen. He was great in the Losers, the best part of Prometheus.I've also seen him in a British series I can't remember the name of. So yeah! I'm wishing him all the success in the world.
AAANNNNDDDD, he's hot as stink (IMO) paired up with JDM in fic! LOL.
He is my new go to rare pair! I've used them in Trade and lately in Yours, Mine. ROAARRR!

The Brit series was probably Luther. He is absolutely compelling in that.

Have you seen him in The Wire? OMG, first thing I ever saw him in and I've still only seen him in that and Pacific Rim. The man has magnetism to burn.

You should check out Luther. I never saw the Wire, heard a lot about it and it's on my list, though I don't know when I'll get time to watch!
