8 Days of SPN - Season 1

What Season 1 was all about for me

Well minus Bobby and Mystery Spot of course. I'm thinking the on the road bit. (And yes, I know Dean's on the wrong side of the damn car! LOL)

My low slide into Wincest and all things slashy came later...much much later...

Even scenes like this didn't get me thinking slashy thoughts - yes, folks. I was that innocent. But those boys drew me in with their banter and their angsting and their pretty, pretty faces.
Season 1 fic rec - well I'd have to go for one of the first fanfics I ever read - Zanitkatel's The Woods are Lonely.  Because I'm a sucker for hurt!Dean and this was before I started reading slash.

Man, i didn't even know what slash WAS when I started watching the show... ;). It corrupted me I tells ya! (in such a good way ...)

I wasn't a wincest gal until Season3 so don't blame yourself for being innocent..I never saw it either until I did an epic rewatch of 1 and 2 then I had hearts in my eyes for the boys. Then by season 4 Moon had me reading Wincest fics and I was hooked. lol

Season one for me was all about the brothers uniting over scary myths/urban legends that were real. Searching for John as they trekked across country listing to cheesy Heavy Metal and sleeping in no tell motels with awesomely out of date themed decor (and possibly questionable sheets).

I didn't see the Wincest for a while either - but I think it's when did that I suddenly fell head over heels for the Show and have never looked back :)

Goodness, I love that you turned the Impala into a right-hand drive - so adorable!

I'm silly enough to still not have slashy thoughts with those scenes, but 'The Woods are Lonely' was the fic that made me want to start writing Supernatural fan fiction! So much love for that story!

LOL, to backwards front saat Dean! I wasn't into slash right away either. Then I read a few of leonidaslion's slash fics and it was all over.

I love The Woods and its sequels. Zatnikatel's a fine writer.
