Apparently some kind souls have nominated me for some wicked_awards which is beyond cool. THANK YOU!

I've been nominated for Best Banner with this one:

Which is kind of ironic because my author vanished and the fic (as far as I know) never got posted.

And twice in Best Wallpaper (ooh, doubled up chances of winning something, hee hee!) for these:

which isn't really a wallpaper, more a book cover, but I ain't complaining.

So now, even if I don't win anything, it's pretty damn awesome to get a nomination, hey? :D

I read your comment that these aren't what you consider your best, and had to laugh. Sometimes the disconnect between creator and audience is weird. How often is the piece we like best, the same as what the audience does?

Also, congratulations. Even if you don't think they're your best, these pieces still represent a lot of hard work and time on your part, and that always deserves acknowledgement.

I was very fond of the Cas picture though I liked it better as a wallpaper and without the text, so I am very happy someone else liked it too.
