Title: Lady Drury’s Closet
Rating: PG-13
Current Word count: ~18k
Pairings: Gen
Warnings: Use of the F word
Summary: Set some years from now – both the Darkness and Lucifer are no longer an issue. Dean and Sam investigate the mysterious disappearance of a man from a locked room in New Jersey. Jody calls them in because the case is over the border from her jurisdiction, plus she’s busy trying to get elected Sheriff in her new patch in Pennsylvania. However things get complicated when Claire independently investigates the case. The Winchesters find a painting of Claire in a panel in the room, but no sign of the girl herself. Their investigation comes to an abrupt halt when the room itself vanishes from the missing man’s house, leaving the boys frustrated and Jody frantic. Several months later, Sam finds a report of a missing child in similar circumstances right on their doorstep in Lebanon. So obviously they reopen the investigation in the hopes of finding Claire.
