Meanwhile, in the square below, the small crowd of spectators parted to allow through six men holding a large tarpaulin. After some more shouting and much gesticulation, Jensen and the Kilted man held hands and leaped off the Clock Tower, landing with a bounce on the stretched tarpaulin. Belleville had never seen such a thing in all her long life, and was very impressed. The ladies in the crowd seemed equally impressed, though their interest was more engaged by the view when the wide kilt flared like a silk parachute on the way down, providing everyone below with quite a spectacle.

Forcing those lovely lips wide and sliding herself inside was every bit the wonderfully satisfying experience that Abaddon had anticipated. Dean Winchester’s psyche was deliciously damaged, but his soul still burned brighter than the heart of the sun as the Knight of Hell chased it into hiding.

Sometimes Kevin hated the Bunker.

Scratch that.  Sometimes Kevin hated EVERYthing.  He hated being stuck underground with only two self righteous, self absorbed, frighteningly lethal hunters for company most of the time.  He hated being stuck in the Bunker alone when the Winchesters sloped off to save the world again.  He hated the fucking angel tablet with its indecipherable scripts and the weight of the expectation that landed on his thin shoulders every time Sam or Dean looked at him with hopeful expressions to ask “how’s it goin’, kid?”

He hated being called kid.

genteensy bang - Lemons with Honey art for morrezzela

I feel I owe the lovely patient morrezela an apology for this, as I ran out of time to do more art for this charming fairy tale!
So all I have is a banner and one illustration and neither came out exactly how I wanted. *sigh*
Still, hopefully they will tempt you to go and read the fic - I mean, it has Genevieve transformed into an orange jelly sweet and Jared is even sweeter! How can you resist? For the genteensybang 2014.


This isn't really spoilery but here's a scene from the fic after Jared and Gen have entered her kingdom. Sadly I failed at conveying the chocolatelyness of the trees and path.

100 Days of Happiness - Days 33 & 34

A combo post as I forgot to do this yesterday.
Yesterday's happy moment was wandering over to have lunch in the park.

The is the mansion. It was built in the 16th century and gifted to the town with its grounds, so we have a magnificent park and beautiful ancient house open daily and free to the public, right in the town centre. This is where we walk our neighbour's dog from Hell every day, and having this on our doorstep never fails to make me happy. The fact that the wee cafe inside the mansion has egg and chips on the menu is a bonus.

Today's happy moment was accidentally coming across these busking boys in town, because I had some time to kill before meeting my friend, my cousin and her son for lunch. They were very popular, especially with the little kids!
