Artist: Me!
Pairing: Sam/Dean

This is the final version, a pencil sketch, coloured and played with in Photoshop. The first version was too dark and gloomy, and the composition and anatomy was awry (cheers
quickreaver for the feedback on that). The statue of Bast is from a museum photo.
As I had my paints out for the car bonnet, and I had a lovely Sam image in my head, I thought I'd have a try at a traditional piece for the next illustration. (It's only spoilery if you know the context).

The painting came out ok but I knew I wasn't going to have time to refine it how I wanted, so I photographed it and finished it off in PS.
The process stuff:
There's the Dean sketch before anything else was done to it

For a laugh, here's a gif of me starting on the Sam painting when I should have been doing my car bonnet.

That heap of drawing pads etc on my left that looks quite precarious? Well it was. The whole lot slid less than gracefully to the floor later on, which meant (horror of horrors) I had to do some sorting and tidying up before I could carry on. I'm glad to say that the laptop was ok. That stonehenge painting on the chest of drawers in the background was a dreadful attempt at using acrylics that I did when I was about 16. And yes, that is an Action Girl sitting up there, looking very slumped because her limbs are all a bit wobbly now. But she, too, is very old.
Here's the naked painting before PS - as you can see, it still needs a fair bit of work! The photos don't show it very well, but I've used iridescent paint on parts of the picture, so it does look quite cool when the light hits it right.

Summary: A demon escapes
from Hell to kidnap Dean and makes him forget everything, even himself. Will he
break and give in before Sam can save him? How far will Sam go to
rescue his brother?
Thanks to
smalltrolven for her patience with me - I was so slow and everything was very last minute!
Art warnings: Dean in chains, topless - I wouldn't count that as NSWF but some might. ;)

Nobody who knows me will be surprised that the first piece I did was hurt Dean... LOL!
