If you're bored of my endless posts about painting big white creatures, move swiftly past this post.
Clarence is now safely ensconced in the hall and miraculously, there is enough room to get past him without having to breathe in, so that's good. He's got his own fleece blanket to make sure we don't scratch him.
Now the living room is the bear pit, and I've started on Bhangra Bear first. He's feeling relatively simple after Clarence!
Starting on the head, base colour for the fur and his khol-lined eyes.

Second day, he gets pupils! And fur.

Base colour on his robes - that was a lot of blue paint!

Front angle. He's going to have a waistcoat covered with red and gold paisley pattern, and the white part will be his drum. I also need to find the mini-step ladder so I can paint the turban on the top of his head as the stool I've been using so far isn't tall enough for little old me.
