Jus in Bello pictures - Benny

amberdreamsI'm trying to sort of out what to get signed at Jus in Bello and Asylum 10 and so I've done a digital portrait of Benny/Ty Olsson.I'm so looking forward to meeting Ty!
And I've heard that Borealis has been picked up and should air late summer! Which is marvellous, because the pilot was excellent. So I'm a happy bunny today.
Techniques/process - I used a promo photo of Benny as the base, did a digital pencil sketch outline over the photo, then added the paper layer, lost the photo and drew from there. Individual colour layers were added last. I'm starting to try a kind of watercolour style by keeping the brushes very transparent and layering the colours within each layer. It's not very sophisticated but it's working reasonably well. I love these new pencil brushes too! This is a low res version because I don't want anyone downloading and using this before I've got my own copy signed! :D
