Blood will Flow

I remember being a kid and watching some US show and an adult threatened to smack a kid on the 'fanny'...I was horrified and scandalised!!! My parents had to explain that it just meant your 'bottom' in America! :D

Jelly was the other one that got me as a kid. How on Earth did those American kids on the telly who were eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches get the jelly to stay between the bread? You'd think it would just wobble out, right? ;)

And in the UK...mostly, the shower pressure and hot water was terrible (although that might depend where you stay...some of the infrastructure is pretty old) and...fly screens...nobody seems to have them? Maybe there just aren't as many flies and mozzies in England as there are in Australia! :D
