Positive meme with bonus drabble

amberdreamsIn theory this is Day 5 and the final day of this meme, but just like the Happy posts, I reserve the right to randomly post happy things! *throws imaginary hat in the air and shouts huzzah!*

Summary: Season 6 Sam after he's restored to Dean - damaged by Lucifer but back in Dean's arms.
I never thought I’d get you back but I never stopped believing I would.
Dean whispers to Sam when he thinks Sam is sleeping, but Sam’s had an Archangel inside/outside/beside him for two hundred years and Sam hears his brother even when Dean thinks he’s being quieter than a zephyr, just a tiny puff of air, barely enough to float a dandelion seed.
Dean is contrary. Full of hope but overtopped with despair. Sam takes comfort from this. He might be burnt out and more than half crazy but Dean is the same as he ever was.

- I logged on this morning and a friend's daughter had shared a link to the most clever and ghostly gif-maker, Kevin Weir. Here's a music vid he made which he's also giffed, and it's such a spooky and beautifully filmed story. I love it. And his gifs look like a rich source of inspriation for fic!
- Then I walked to the doctors because it was a nice day, and getting the car out seemed like unecessary hassle, and it's only a 45 minute walk. I went through the park on they way, and the path was littered with glorious, glossy conkers. I LOVE conkers. They are prettier than diamonds. And they were everywhere! Why don't the kids pick 'em up and play with them any more? Even if they don't use them for conker fights, they should collect them because they are beautiful, rich colours and feel so shiny.
alexisjane has made me art already for my spn_gen fic and its brill! So exciting to see all her ideas and what she's done so far is already the bee's knees. *bounces*. Also on the art front, I got my first choice fic for SDMB in spite of the ghost in the LJ machine that ate the first claims post. Still waiting for someone to pick up my sad little summary though. Still as this is a positivity meme, I'm sure it will haven been claimed by the time I wake up in the morning, right? :D- I'm sure I had more things to be positive about but I can't remember what they were right now so here's the drabble instead:

Date: 2014-09-20 01:42 am (UTC)I didn't know what a conker was, so I had to look it up (and at first got a lot of pictures of a cartoon squirrel...O_o;;) but YES, the non-digital!squirrel ones are beautiful, indeed! That sounds like a lovely walk.
Good luck with claims! It sounds like it's all going swimmingly, so I see no reason for that run of fortune to slow down. :D
