Reasons to be cheerful one two three – Day 4
1. Had my eyes tested and as suspected my prescription has changed quite a lot in 2 years. The good news is I managed to find the exact same frames I have now (which I am more than happy with) so I’ve ordered 2 pairs on a 2 for 1 offer. The price all in (lenses, tints, varifocals x2) is still £10 cheaper than the only frames I liked in the shop where I got my eyes tested. And that was before that opticians added on the £210 cost of the lenses! Ha ha you’re having a laugh, Vision Express, mate. Spec Savers it is then.
2. SDMB summaries are up! And apart from the fact I’ll be amazed if any artist wants to pick my fic – bloody hell my summary sucks – I’ve managed to get my shortlist of 3. Well 4 really with another 3 that could have been on my list, but I’m not changing my mind again. There were literally only 2 summaries that I thought, nope, I would want to touch that one. So much delicious candy to pick from! Yum.
3. I think I’ve finished my spn_j2_xmas fill. And the nice thing about that is, I can leave it for a while and come back to it fresh to see if I’m right or not – there’s so much time! Plus if I think about it a bit more I might be able to illustrate it as well.
