Oh, my God, bb, this is WONDERFUL! Speaking as a dog person AND a Dean!girl, I gotta tell you . . . you perfectly captured both Dean's dogginess and his Dean-ness. And Sam, just knowing there was something about this particular dog. Poor, doomed Jess was also beautifully done. (At first, I thought this might be a total AU and she'd survive, but as events progressed, I got that you were redoing the Pilot, which could end only one way.) Beautiful melding of fic and canon events, by the way. Even Jess's Smurfs shirt made an appearance. :)

. . . and when Brady kicked unconscious dog!Dean in the ribs, I wanted to cry -- and then flay Brady's demonic ass to the bone. That entire scene just . . . *shivers*
