I can't really do a coherent report on A8 because my head is too full up of the fun-times with my wonderful SPN buddies, and the awesomeness of the lovely guests, especially the ones I hadn't seen before!

DJ Qualls was adorably dorktastic with his Union Jack dickie bow, love of art and the National Portrait Gallery, bemusement with British urinals, stealing of the convention mascot and general loving of the whole crowd in a huge love-fest sort of way.

He was very like Jared in his inability to sit still for long, and his ability to segue from one topic to another to another - those two together in the same room must be headache inducing for everyone else...maybe for a future con, have them on stage together.  All you'd have to do is switch the mikes on and leave them too it, and before 40 minutes was up they might have managed to answer one question.  He said in his coffee lounge that he loved being able to talk like this, flitting from topic to topic, as all his friends just tell him to shut up!!!

Kim Rhodes was awesome, throwing herself into everything with enthusiasm. That woman has the most beautiful eyes, she's so damned attractive and couldn't care less - her full body laughs are marvellous.  You should have seen the number of hugs, kisses, ridiculous poses she gave everyone in their photo ops and I bet the all guys there were well chuffed, because I saw several pics of her being carrried, kissing them on the cheek and all sorts.  One bloke told me she just gave him a huge smack on the cheek for his photo without him even asking, and he seemed still a bit blown away by it when he was talking to me!

And she gave me what I asked for - the best hug of the day and smished me half to death in my photo op.

Steven Williams, what a guy - I love him to bits!  And he wasn't joking when he said he keeps fit - I tested his biceps against Jim Beavers and oh my.  Steven could give Jared and Matt a run for their money, I can tell you.

Carrie Ann was also great, she looked like she was enjoying the hell out of the whole experience, and fairly sparkled with delight at everything.

James Patrick Stewart was very suave and much better looking in real life than Dick... And he seemed to love taking the piss out of his character, milking the dick jokes almost as much as they did on the show.

Having Guy Norman Bee and Jim Michaels there was such a treat - and the coffee lounge with them was fascinating.  I'd have loved to have been able to spend more time with those two getting all the behind the scenes info.  Jim was saying that fans really do have influence, not necessarily over story lines, but more over which characters might get the nod for a return - he cited Garth as a good example of that, and also mentioned that it was highly unlikely that Becky would ever make a reappearance.  He also said that they do read a lot of fan commentary, blogs etc to keep up with current opinion.  I gave him a print of some SSA comments about fan behaviour to demonstrate that we are not all raving loonies, so hopefully he will give that a skim sometime (though as it was accompanied by the gift of a bottle of very expensive tequila, I'm not sure how much will be absorbed!!).

What else? The two Marks (P & S) and Misha were all their usual stellar selves, and I am well chuffed with my Lucifer photo. Everyone liked my posted for autographs, which was nice.

It's hard to pick out highlights when there were so few lowlights...and most of those were to do with the organisation not the guests - like the stupid shouty girl in the corridor who thought it was somehow clever and funny to yell at everyone all the time because some idiot army bloke told her she'd make a good drill sergeant.

Then there were the fans asking for hugs *sigh*.  And the weird fan who showed Misha a picture from Tumblr which had a woman's shaved tush in the background that she said she hadn't noticed (Misha was kind of traumatised by that one), and two strange Finnish fans that went on stage to talk and film Misha while asking him to buzz like a bee, but worse of all, the fact that someone had actually tried to take a photo of Misha's willie while he was having a pee.  WTH people??? I mean...words fail me.

But I don't want to bring my mood down, so I'm not going to degenerate into a grumpy old woman (no more than usual, anyway)!
So here's my autographed poster - DJ added his own picture and Guy noted that he directed the movie, which seemed only fair as both were added way after I had the not so bright idea of a SPN version of Ocean's eleven.  Misha kindly crossed Jared out for me! LOL
My pseudo film poster I had signed at A8
