Twitter Art Exhibition 22
Mar. 1st, 2022 01:10 pmI am a bit late doing my own TAE22 entry, which meant I forgot to post a promotion for the event here - but there's still time to register (for free!), and complete and send your own arty postcard! The event is a global one, held every year, and all the art is posted online as well as going into a physical exhibition. This year's is in York in the UK, and the charity the money raised will benefit is The Encephalitis Society. You can find out all about the event HERE.
I wasn't sure what to do this year - for my first one I sent in a fanart watercolour of Sam Winchester, last year I inked and watercoloured a phoenix. So I wanted to do something different. Then I was trawling through Instagram and saw a wire sculpture of Poseidon and felt inspired.
I'm thinking this is more Fangorn than underwater sea god, but it's open to interpretation!
Initial inking
On my desk with the Poems about You watercolours I used. Just 3 colours in total - Poems' Prussian Blue and Gamboge on the background, and Schminke Desert Green on the face (which is a 2 pigment granulating mix of PR108 and PG26).
