Jensen surfaces slowly, floating up into the light in gradual increments, unlike the rush he’d felt when the divers had released his legs before when filming this drowning scene. When he finally opens his eyes he’s surprised to see a white ceiling instead of sky. His first thought is to wonder Where’s the damned lake gone? His second is that his head hurts like a motherfucker. He tries to sit up, and hisses in pain as his shoulder is stabbed through with burning agony. He falls back against the soft pillows and breathes through the pain.

S10E05 - Episode 200 Fanfiction thoughts

I've read a few reaction posts and think ash48 probably summed it up for me, saying everything I'd have wanted to say only better, so I won't repeat all that here. I just wanted to raise one little question.

At the start, they showed the typing of SUPERNATURAL "Pilot" Created by Eric Kripke. Then of course, they awesomely brought in Chuck (or Craver Edlund) at the end, to give his seal of approval to the fan girls. (Yes yes I KNOW I split my inifinitive there! LOL)

So my question is - do you think that they intended a shout out to Chuck being Eric being God, linking those two things - the THEN and the ending like that? And of course, in terms of the overarching story within the show (and putting aside the love letter to us, the fans) if Chuck is God, and God is approving of the Winchesters, does God still have some power in this universe? Do you think they intend him to use it at some point in the boys' story?

I don't know what to think, I'm just throwing the thought out there.
