On a happier note -

I think the bee is done! I could fiddle some more, but really, that's all it would be. The insides of the legs were an absolute 'mare but there's nothing I can do about that. Really, this was SUCH a stupid design. Heh. Never mind.

Tomorrow, I varnish.

Wash mark 2

I wasn't sure I could edit the first pic well enough so I started afresh. I think this one is a little more successful. I did have two other goes actually, but the second one went really badly awry in terms of a likeness so that's definitely NOT going anywhere! So this is the one I think I'll get signed.

It's not the final version, I've made his head a bit wider at the back in the shadows, and darkened the background round his face to make it stand out a bit more. I thought I'd try using some pre-printed craft card so I had a ready made background. This is approx 30cm square.

I think it's worked reasonably well. It was quite hard to see what I was doing to start with, but once I got some the layers of pastels down it got easier. It's still a bit long in the face for Wash but I'm not too ashamed of it! LOL

Just varnishing to go! Phew!

By Jove, I think he's done. Finally! Now I have to varnish him. This bear is being sponsored by a company called Biomass and they've given me some special varnish that is supposed to keep my bear free from bacteria - apparently they are going to go round the trail swabbing bears to show how their product keeps mine so much cleaner! LOL

Asylum 14 poster - Finished!

I had to move everything about a bit to make sure all the figures were within the printable area for the poster, but this does mean there is a bit more space for the guests to sign it, so that's ok. I decided to include Jim Michaels in the end even though I had originally intended getting him to sign something else, because, as

madebyme_x said yesterday, I didn't want him to feel left out! So he's up there photo bombing Metatron - I thought as one of the Producers, he should be up there with the Scribe of God!
Teaser - Crowley - I messed about with him and I know he's still not quite right but it will have to do. I was seeing double...
